The new NRG Power series treads boldly where others fall short of the mark. Instead of having a cheap flimsy chassis, Piaggio instead opted for something stronger, and enlarged the wheels to a full 13" for greater stability and comfort. This means the NRG Power glides over bumps, and retains a remarkable composure over broken road surfaces, typical to our Towns and City center’s.
The larger wheels allow larger brakes too, and with fully hydraulic 125-sized Discs at both ends, superior stopping power is assured in all conditions. Even the lights are up rated, with Multi bulb Halogen headlamps, Smoked lens on the Indicators and an Eight bulb brake lamp, you'll even get noticed in the dark! Now from the Pilots perspective, this is one great machine too! The Seat is unusually spacious, very comfortable, and in front the Semi-digital dashboard incorporates a large analogue rev-counter, and digital Speedo, Clock, Odometer, Fuel and Temperature gauges, with a resettable trip counter. The sports screen keeps out unwanted reflections, and the composite floor is both large and flat.
Technical specs are as good as it gets, with the HiPer2 Pro engine being fitted with a high performance Expansion chamber exhaust system with wrap-over 'Snakebite' tail pipe, Upside down forks with Mono-shock rear suspension, and an underfloor fuel tank for better weight distribution, therefore superior handling.
